The story begins with Harry Potter’s fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The wizarding world is in denial about Lord Voldemort’s return. The Ministry of Magic, led by Cornelius Fudge, spreads propaganda to discredit Harry and Dumbledore, claiming they are spreading lies.

At Hogwarts, the school year starts with the arrival of Dolores Umbridge. However it’s an oppressive and strict Ministry-appointed Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Umbridge implements new rules and tightens control over the school, causing tension and resistance among the students.

Harry, along with his friends Ron and Hermione, forms Dumbledore’s Army. This is a secret group where students can learn practical defense against the dark arts. They train in secret to prepare for the coming battle against Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

Throughout the year, Harry experiences disturbing visions and dreams, connecting him to Voldemort’s thoughts and emotions.

He also discovers a room in Hogwarts called the Room of Requirement. In addition which becomes a secret meeting place for Dumbledore’s Army.
