Review – “Thor” received generally positive reviews. Because of its entertaining mix of action, humor, and character development. Altogether “Thor” laid a solid foundation for the character within the MCU and set the stage for future appearances of Thor and Loki in subsequent films. Also The film successfully introduced Asgardian mythology.
Story – Thor is the impulsive and arrogant god of thunder. This story starts in Asgard. Moreover Asgard is one of the 9th Realms, ruled by King Odin. Now they selected Thor as the new king. But his coronation is interrupted by someone. A man named Frost Giants wants to steal a powerful artifact. Therefore Thor and his brother Loki and his friends go to confront the Frost Giants. They fight with each other and this create a dangerous situation. Meanwhile Odin banishes Thor to earth. Odin curbs Thor all power he take his enchanted hammer Mjolnir.
After that Thor reached in New Mexico. Here Thor found by astrophysicist Jane Foster and her team. Erik Selvig & Darcy Lewis also the part of her team. Somehow Thor forms a bond with Jane and trying to adjust in Earth. Furthermore he’s learning Humanity. Thor’s friend continuously attempting to retrieve him also government agency S.H.I.E.L.D wants him too.
In the next scene Thor’s brother Loki find that he’s not son of Odin. Loki is now aware, that he’s being the adopted son of Odin. Furthermore Loki discover his true heritages.
In Asgard threat of war is looming. Thor is aware about Asgard. So he’s trying to prove himself worthy to wield Mjolnir and save both worlds from impending disaster.
At the end of the scene we see a battle in the small town of Puente Antiguo. A very powerful weapon sent to kill Thor. But Thor confronts the Destroyer. Meanwhile Thor with the help of his personal growth, and self sacrifice, he redeems himself and regain his all power.
